If you’re’ looking for short narrative and historically accurate diorama and guided tour, this may be the Salem historical mini learning lesson for you. The guides seemed well versed and informative. There is a small amount of walking and there are some stairs as they take you down into a diorama filled area. The setups are kind of lame, but for the cost, you’re not going to get Steven Speilburg sets. It’s short, inside and interesting. There are better tours but they are much loner and include much more walking, so this approximately 20-25 minute guided tour may fit your bill.

The narrative part of this attraction is historically accurate and interesting. The guides are energetic and informative. However, as far as the design is concerned, the downstairs scenes depicting the witch trials are nothing short of lame. The plastic-like life-size dolls are out of date and the scenes are in dire need of reconstruction. They greatly distract a visitor's interest in the information which the guides provide, as they are quite visually annoying. If you are looking for a historical account of the witch hysteria times there are better attractions, such as any one of the walking tours that go through the town.

Our visit to the Witch History was basically a 25 minute guided tour. The tour starts upstairs in a church-like auditorium. We then went down to the basement where there are several dioramas depicting key scenes from the days of the witch trials.

Our guide was energetic and full of information...and we did learn a few more details about the witch trials. We had fun and felt we got our money's worth.

We went to the Witch History Museum on a combination pass for three museums for a low price. During the tour we learned the history of the Salem Witch Trials and how it was to be living during those times. Some you already know from history class, but there was a lot more to learn that I hadn't know about before.

This tour wasn't terrible, but it was awesome either. Our tour guide was nice and informative and I liked the low lighting of the tour but it was extremely stuffy in the basement. It's not really a museum but a tour guide with a touch out of date figures. But I DID learn a couple of things that I wasn't aware of before and our tour guide recommended a book for us to read as well.
