A group for friends and I dined here while visiting Salem this past weekend. It was centrally located to everything we were seeing that day. Upon entering the extremely small waiting area we were greeted by two young women who behind the hostess counter who were arguing about spreading out where patrons were seated to make it fair for the waitresses. Finally she asked for my name and # in our party. I was surprised that she then wrote down a description of what I was wearing so they could find me when our table was ready. We asked to wait at the bar and made our way there. The war staff seemed very overwhelmed. All draft beers were not available as they were having an issue with the kegs. Waitresses were waiting for drinks. Drinks were sitting on counters waiting for the wait staff to take them. At one point a kitchen member came out to deliver an appetizer to the bar to be told by the bar staff that the customer already received them. After 40 minutes and three times asking we were finally seated at our table. Our server seemed very confused as to why we were seated at our table. She had no idea where we came from or if she was our server. After a few minutes she figured it out and asked for our order. Thankfully we had all looked at the menu at the bar because we were never given one when we were seated. As we began to order we the server informed us that some of those items were no longer available because they had reduced their menu for the weekend. They may have wanted to mention that upfront. We ordered burgers and quesadillas. They food was ok. It wasn't the best burger I had ever had but it was by no means the worst. All the menu items were reasonably priced.
Overall the restaurant was nice. I think the staff needed a little more training and more organization. They definitely did not seem prepared for Saturday evening business.
