“Properly Gloomy”

This is a great tour if you like history. The guides were great and were very frank about the true nature of the Salem Witch Trials. We were told it was one of the most faithfully restored buildings in Salem and I believe them.

“Only House Tied to the Witch Trials”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

A piece of history still standing and tied to the Witch Trials of 1692. You take the tour on you own, but there are many posters describing things, and guides around if you have questions. interesting to see how they lived back in times gone by. Makes me appreciate what I have.

“Actual history”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

As noted elsewhere, many thanks to the Corwin home for actually being a piece of history from the era of the witch trials. Just the fact that it was an intact house from the 1600's, and the interesting, informative displays therein, make it well worth a visit.

“Witch house visit”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We really enjoyed the old house and it was interesting to see the furnishings and cooking implements. Docents had factual info too.
