“Boring....”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

We toured this with the Salem Wax Museum's halloween package. I was very disappointed in the whole package, except the Candlelit tour. I didn't enjoy these wax figures, as I have at other wax museums. The plaques were educational but nothing exciting. Downstairs was more for kids entertainment, as you could do some small activities.

“Not worth the money!!!!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012 via mobile

It had just a few wax exhibits, not worth the money, I would have much rather spent the money on something else.

“Lower the price”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

It is an okay way to get a good idea about the sea trade and witch trials. However, it is not worth the price. I think $2 would be reasonable to charge, or keep the price and add a tour guide...

“Awesome displays”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

I loved how the people look real and the knowledge of the tour guide knew the history of the past. The museum does not have a problem telling anyone how the past was in Salem.

“Just okay”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

We visited this museum as part of a package deal. Very small place with older wax figures. You can take your time and read all the placards that are with the wax figures. It will take you less than 15 minutes.

Downstairs is a "hands on" area where you can do gravestone rubbings, sit in a dark cell and do knot tying. The whole are is old and worn though.

Overall not the best experience but okay...
