If you come to Tucson, you must visit the best "New Mexico Green Chili" restaurant for many miles. This was a repeat visit, really to see if it was as good as I thought, and it was.
I have zoned in on the Green Chili & Chicken enchiladas,($8.95) they are to die for, nicely season with just the right amount of heat and so creamy with the cheese.
They serve a wide range of Mexican breakfast right through to dinners. It was in a past life an old Taco Bell and the out door seating is nice in the summer or fall and you have a great view of the Catalina Mountains.
The service is efficient and very friendly, they make you feel like your been there a million times.
If you not into Mexican food they have burgers and such all served up with New Mexico Green Chilies. No liquor, but they do have Horchata , which is a traditional Mexican drink of rice, milk & cinnamon, really cooling with the hot Mexican food.
The chips and salsa are fresh, we request the milder salsa and it's plentiful. Both are made there at the restaurant.
The service is great and the food is superb, not a fancy place but a great value.
All the green chilies come from Hatch, New Mexico they also serve both Red or Green sauce.

Went for take-out. I decided to pick up inside instead of using the drive up window so I could check it out. Interior is pretty basic but was very busy. I ordered the "Taste of N.M." and it was great. Chillie Relleno, Green chillie enchilada and taco.

What a wonderful little local restaurant! The quality of their food and service is top-notch and it's really inexpensive. We were visiting the Tucson area and glad we stopped by to enjoy this little place. This is a hole-in-the-wall gem that serves up delicious New Mexican food dishes. We tried the chile rellenos and green chile chicken enchiladas...both out of this world good! The spice level was just right and all the flavors came together like a fiesta in your mouth! The service was also very attentive and the guacamole and salsa was fresh. Our only regret was that we didn't get a chance to go back while we were there. Our next visit to Tucson will definitely include eating here. This is a unique restaurant that you must visit!

Hole in the wall place which we prefer over chain restaurants. All wait staff was very friendly. Food was OK. Chips tasted a little burnt. Chile cheese fries were delicious. Our entrees were ok, nothing to rave about.

Tiny little restaurant- smelled terrific when we walked in, and the lady who waited on us was unbelievably nice - actually picked our breakfast for us- which was about three different entrees - from spicy to mild and green and red chile sauce- ALL was wonderful. And she started us with some sort of spicy pork stew and a lovely tortilla soup. The kids got basic kid burritos- the refried beans are well seasoned and smooth- which the kids really like. All in all a great experience- nice place! Definitely recommend highly!!
