“Convenient to Airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2011

We stayed one night for we had an early flight out of the Tucson Airport. The room was a typical Hyatt room. Everything was clean; the staff was friendly. We were able to eat a quick breakfast before taking the shuttle to the terminal. My husband swam in the pool in the evening.

After arriving at the airport, we had to return our rental car. We drove it over to the airport, and then just walked back to the hotel...it wasn't more than 10 minutes. While the location convenient to the terminal, it wasn't close to any restaurants, attractions, or nightife.

Overall - a good stay!

I was really disappointed in this hyatt. The room smelled like urine and the beds were not as advertised. The towels were hard and paper thin. Not what I would have expected for a hyatt or the cost. I would not recommend this hotel.

All the employees were helpful and friendly, but I must put in a word for Jaime who made our stay delightful! Each time we came to the lobby and breakfast room he went out of his way to greet us with a huge smile and ask if we needed his help, offering suggestions and advice. The guest room was large with a long sofa, desk, large flat screen TV, sink & frig but, surprisingly no microwave. There were well-placed lights by the bed which we appreciate so one can read while other person sleeps. Bathroom extremely small with lo-flow toilet that barely flushed. 24/7 food available but no room delivery. Our room faced the nearby airport and there was occasional jet noise in day but didn't notice this at night. We definitely would stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is very nice and clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and we didn't have any issues with heating/air conditioning, plumbing, etc. Everything was perfect from the pillows to the provided toothpaste. The TV is huge, there's a sink and small refrigerator / 'bar' kind of area, a nice desk, and a really large couch. The excellence of the front desk staff is what made the stay above par. Besides being very friendly, they were exceptionally accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything that we needed. The hotel offers food 24/7 - you need to go down to the front desk to get it, but the availability was perfect for our needs (we needed to eat at off-times of the day and night). We didn't visit the surrounding area other than going back and forth to the University of Arizona, so can't comment on the area. Overall, a great trip made better by the stay at this hotel. Thank you!

The staff was incredibly friendly, like probably the most friendly I've ever met. The room was excellent all then way around. Huge couch with leather ottoman made watched Monday Night Football on the 42" HD TV excellent.

Room Tip: Up high is better view.

This is a nice property, no frills, clean with a friendly staff. Less than 5 minutes away from airport, so it is a great place to stay if you are flying through. The staff went above and beyond expectations and were extremely helpful as I was not familiar with the area. I would stay again.

Had never stayed at a Hyatt Place before but if they are all like this one will do again. Nice suite style room with nice size sofa, could sleep on it, in the front room. Nice little work desk, flat screen set up so can view from sofa in one room or bed in the sleeping area by the window. Bathroom had all the amenities and the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly.
