I booked it online which was okay. Once we got to the room, it was extremely HOT. I turned the small A/C on and we went to dinner and a movie hoping it would cool down by then. We got back a little after 10 pm and it was tolerable. The comforters didn't look like they had ever been washed, there were stains all over them. We turned the bed sheets down only to find little tiny bugs under it. I should have walked out then but I am not familiar with Tucson, it was pouring rain, and I needed to be at UMC in the morning. My mom then awoke at midnight to find that the A/C had froze up. I then woke up in a deep sweat. The whole night was horrible and we got little sleep. Tucson has temperatures of 109 and above so you can imagine what the room was like. I paid about 79.00 for the room. When I booked it, it was suppose to have a microwave, coffee maker, and frig, it only had a frig. When I went to check out I told the clerk about it and all he offered was, I'll have to check on that!!! I would not recommend this hotel.

Be afraid - be very afraid! Candlelight Suites in Tucson is a complete dump. I was a sucker and stayed there for 1 night because of their so-called handicapped accomodations. They told me there were 2 beds, but one "bed" was a sofa. The shower was a "roll-in" but there was NO grab bar and the bathroom was so small I could hardly get my wheelchair in. Did I mention the blood stains on the pillows or the grunge on the phone? I could go on and on, but it is sufficient to say that this place is a total dump. Stay away from this place, it is the worst.

found the place clean. Shag rugs and other 60's style look, but clean, convenient. Nice little pool, laundry available. Decent continental breakfast. Liked the locked gated access.
