My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here for a girls getaway. I really don't even know where to begin. There are great mountain views, but that's about where it stops.
This "resort" seriously lacks in service on ALL accounts. It was one small thing after another and I am a firm believer that those small things are usually the most important and they add up.
Each day we had to call down for essential items that weren't replenished...coffees...water, etc. How does housekeeping overlook something like that THREE days in a row???? When I am spending hundreds of dollars to stay somewhere, where the intention to relax, I shouldn't have to call down 20 times a day for essential items. Then be treated as if WE are the ones causing them an inconvenience.
We were not ONCE serviced when using the pool. When we did see a waiter they would just buzz by and not even ask us if we wanted/needed anything. That was very odd. The only time we got service was when we were sitting at the pool bar. Which I can't complain there, the drinks were good and the service was okay.
Lets go back to the pool, the mineral pool and the jacuzzi that sits next to it to be exact. The rocks that adorn that area were INFESTED with cockroaches, absolutely INFESTED. Crawling all over the place and dead all over the place in both pools!!!! Once we saw that sight it was VERY difficult to let go and relax with cockroaches running around all over. We couldn't believe that it was never brought to the hotels attention before. We certainly weren't the only ones to notice it either. Something like that should be under control, it's such a simple fix. HUGE turn off.
This "Resort" is not one of high standards. If I were to put it into a category, I would call this a budget resort, which is fine, I like a good deal, but this place needs to do some serious sprucing on their staff and take better care of their grounds.
We definitely will NOT return. I rather splurge than waste my money.
