This is the second stay, and the pool was still not cleaned, families go to aplace so they also can enjoy the pool with family. They should take the pool out of the amenities. The a/c filters are extremely dirty....people can get sick. There was a leak in the bathroom sink, but they negleted to fix it. It seems the Management company does not look at what customers are saying, but little by little customers are going to other places.

Room Tip: There are no helpful tips unles they provide and maintain what they offer.

For any out of towner, or even a Staycationer, a perk is the Sunday Night Jazz inside the Grill. Starting at 6:30 this Tucson classic features a different artist every Sunday, followed by a jam of excellent jazz musicians. Great place to have dinner, or just drinks, and be part of a vibrant group of people enjoying good music. Pete Swan runs it - check it out at peteswan.com. Guaranteed a good time.

Don't try to check in before 3...we waited 4 hours and hoped that one of our 5 rooms would be available before 3. Service was mediocre at best. Grill food and breakfast buffet was ok.

Redeeming qualities, nice pool area, clean rooms and close to the company I was in town to see.

This is the first time I stayed here and I will not return. The rooms are outdated and very dirty. The drawers haven't bern cleaned in a very long time, there is a huge area of greasy dirt on the ceiling above the A/C vent, the carpets are stained, and the empty K-cup pack was still in the coffee maker from the previous guest. I wonder if the bedding was even changed. Also the pool was very dirty and run down. They are playing some type of jazz event in the center of the hotel and it is very noisey. This is not appropriate on a week night especially.

We spent five days at the Viscount Suites for a family reunion. The very reasonable off-season rate of $75 per night included a full breakfast with omelettes made to order. The leisurely and roomy breakfast service in the atrium was ideal for socializing with family members. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was accommodating, and we enjoyed our cool dips in the lovely, tiled courtyard pool. ( I have never been at a hotel with such an assortment of pool toys.) The hotel has some quirky and unique touches, like the assortment of tropical birds whose cages are wheeled in to the lobby each day and the slightly idiosyncratic landscaping around the atrium.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor which was sometimes just a bit noisy. Higher floors might be better.

Our entire extended family stayed here while in town for a Memorial service. Can't say enough about the very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was good, room clean and neat. Loved the atrium and the complimentary breakfast each day is amazing! Not just cereal and a bagel like most places, but a full buffet with omelet station, breakfast potatoes, bacon and sausage, fresh fruit and more.

The Viscount was a nice hotel, rooms on the 3rd floor were clean and spacious. Breakfast that was provided was good. There seems to be some issue with housekeeping however as checking in for us and others that were in town for the same wedding was challenging.

Room Tip: Get a room on the 3rd floor that has been renovated.
