It was a gathering of friends from around the countrey. The hotel was a perfect place to sit back and tales of the old days at the pool and lounge. The morning breakfast buffet had a nice selection in pleasant surroundings.

Stayed here two nights recently and had a very comfortable stay. Pleasant rooms, nothing special but free internet. A free bottle of water would have been a nice touch. Long walk to get to the restaurant/pub but then it is a resort hotel.Great pool and enjoyed the service in the pub. Also a bit far out of town.

Large impersonal hotel set over 15 miles from Tucson
Our kingsize bedroom was not in the hotel but located in Block 2 around the back with a nice view of the car park which meant a drive to use the only free wifi only located in the lobby
The room itself was dated and drab but quite a good size but no fridge or micrwave
The complex boasts of 5 pools and the main one was a good size
Nothing is for free at the Hilton not even the bottles of water in the room which cost $6 each
So far out that it was a 3+ mile drive to the nearest resturant

Thanks for your comments. We always appreciate hearing from our guests as they help us to improve the quality of our product and service. We apologize that your stay and our location were not what you expected. In your future travels, we encourage you to seek information concerning the local restaurants and attractions from the resort concierge or any one of our team members. Any would have been happy to help you with directions to local restaurant favorites, as well as local attractions. There are several restaurants to choose from that are less than a mile from our resort.

The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort is located in Oro Valley a suburb that is fully integrated in the Tucson metropolitan area, and about 6 miles north of the Tucson city limits. We reside at the base of the Pusch Ridge and enjoy some of the most scenic views of the Ridge available in any local property. Our resort has 428 guest rooms, with 4 main buildings that surround a beautiful courtyard which features 3 sparkling pools, including our 143 foot waterslide, as well as the hot & cold springs. Just a short walk from Buildings 1-4 is our lobby area where guests can enjoy complimentary high speed internet access, breakfast and lunch in Sundance Café, and dinner in our new restaurant, Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails.

For those guests who wish to be away from the heart of the resort we recommend the charming casita suites which include a small microwave and mini-refrigerator. The king bedroom casita suites also offers a living room with a fireplace, and dining room.

Thanks again for your input. We hope we’ll have a chance to welcome you back soon.

Sincerely,
Lori B.

Awesome place to stay. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. My wife and I felt especially welcomed by Tim, at the pool. He offered exceptional service and great conversation, truly an individual that expresses the quality of courtesy and friendliness you would hope to find at such an establishment. In fact, everyone on the staff seemed to exude a professional attitude that made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will return and recommend.

My husband and I stayed here three nights in early September. The weather and scenery were spectacular. The grounds of the resort and the foothill setting right beneath the Catalina Mountains are wonderful. The main lobby is huge and impressive. The bar and restaurant and big veranda are very nice.

But, the rooms were dated and not very clean. Found cigarettes and ashtray full of butts on our balcony. The carpet on the floor of our room didn't seem to get vacuumed throughout our stay.

Also, no complimentary morning paper or coffee. Even if you make the rather long trek to the lobby the only coffee available is a very expensive cup of Starbucks. And if you don't like Starbucks, too bad.

Never experienced that in a Hilton before. It was very disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We are honored you chose our hotel during your recent stay in the area and are glad you enjoyed the property, and our beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains. We apologize for the housekeeping problems you encountered, and will be sure to bring these matters to the attention of our Director of Operations and the Director of Housekeeping.

Our property, along with all Hilton properties, has gone digital and we offer the USA Today through a complimentary on-line link for our registered guests. We also have a supply of both the Wall Street Journal and the USA Today available at the Front Desk.

In addition to the complimentary in-room coffee or tea, our lobby lounge proudly serves Starbucks coffee, and Sundance, our restaurant, serves its own brand of coffee that is available “to go” for those who do not wish to enjoy Starbucks. I apologize that you were not made aware of the choices that we offer our guests.

We appreciate your feedback and will use your comments to continually evolve to provide the best experience possible for our guests. We hope you will give us a second chance to show you the quality stay you expect and deserve if you visit our area again in the future.

Thank you,
Lori B, Executive Assistant

Stayed here over the weekend. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and the bed was super comfy. The grounds are gorgeous and very well kept, the view is amazing! The pool was clean and great to cool off in! The food was rather expensive so we didn't bother with that, and a little disappointed they didn't have free wifi.

The staff was very friendly and gave us tips for exploring the desert. They helped me to arrange transportation to a near by horse stable for a morning of riding. The front door staff was excellent and always offered us bottled water while we were waiting for transportation.

Our airline had sent our luggage to Atlanta, and the staff at hotel were very helpful with taking our information to get us our bags as soon as they arrived.

If we're ever back in Tucson, would definitely return to this hotel!

We stayed at the Hilton and loved it !
Great room, super pools, good food.
A little refurb would be nice, however the hotel offers terrific value for money.
The upgrade offered by the Hilton was fantastic for us although the lack of clients was not so fantastic for the hotel.
