I was there on business at a time when prices are at their peak. If you spend one night there at usual prices, it would be fine. But 5 nights there at peak rates, well....it was clean, but shabby and sad. Breakfast was tired: ordinary coffee and a doughnut with pink icing. The staff did their best. Don't stay on the ground floor as the guest/s above will keep you awake regardless of how quiet they are or try to be. In short, at usual rates for one night - sure. Other than that, keep trying. In hindsight, 3 stars was generous. I think 2.5 is closer to the mark.

I've been staying here about once a month for years. The staff has always been very friendly and accomodating and I feel quite at home. Love the convience of the fridge and there are plenty of TV channels including HBO.

Our room and surrounding area smelled of smoke. These are supposed to be non smoking rooms.
Would not stay there again.

my room was large and clean with a walk-in shower and good lighting for reading. cable tv had adequate channels and the room was comfortable. room also had a microwave and fridge. the pastry selection in the morning is excellent- not cheap store-bought donuts.
there is a computer in the lobby but it is painfully slow and shabby.
cons: the towel bar was very low, right next to the toilet. and interstate traffic noise is constant- i used the room's fan overnight to sleep and it drowned out the traffic noise.
the rates are very good- not the best in tucson, but nearly so and it's much nicer than some of the dumpy, cheap motels in tucson.

....but we took the chance and were VERY happy! Staff as we checked in were nice and gave us some touring tips. Room was VERY clean - new soaps, towels, no dust on anything, everything worked. We were on the pool side, so maybe that's why we didn't have any problems reported on noise, etc. Cleaned the room after our 1st night, and last morning waited until we left before trying to see if they could clean it. All staff were friendly & helpful! the coffee was great, and plenty of donuts/danish left over for late risers to pick from at 8AM. Will definitely stay there again! Thank you, ABVI!

Room Tip: We were on the lower floor, near the end of the side where the office is (110), and were very happy...
