Husband had a great golf time with friends. Exercise room open 24/7. Everything was a pretty walk. Kids enjoyed waking up and seeing the ducks at the pond outside our porch everyday. Pool was walking distance, Kid friendly with benches in it and shallow end (1ft deep). Enjoyed visiting with Golf resort member/resident and other Omni guest.

Overall our experience here was very nice. We had a couple of minor issues, but they were resolved quickly.
Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately! A man came and opened the car door for me and opened the lobby door and offered me fruit infused water or tea. I sat down and waited to check in. This went smooth, only took a few minutes. The omni offers a kids backpack with games, etc. I had to ask for this even though they should have had it down in the system. We were given clear directions to our hacienda.
The room was clean and spacious. Decorated very nicely. The bathroom area by the shower/tub was outdated, but all else was nice. Climate control worked great!!!
The milk and cookies were in the room for the kids already as promised. I had ordered a local beer/chips/salsa special for the room. At other omni's you receive four or five different types of salsas and a ton if chips as well as four different beers. I was confused here because I had two of the same beers and two salsas and I small amount of chips. I called room service and they provided me with the other two beers promptly. So it was all good, just not AS good as other omni's.
Next was the pool! We got to the smaller pool (there are two) only to find it was locked. I called the front desk and they apologized and said they would send someone out to open it. It was a little inconvenient with impatient kids!! It was opened though. This wasn't really the pool to go to. The nice one was by the main lobby and was super clean. This one was not so much!
We all slept well in the comfortable room (beds were great) and enjoyed a nice walk around the property, which is gorgeous. It's a quiet, friendly atmosphere. We were greeted with a friendly smile from employees walking and driving around.
Check out went smoothly. We were told if everything on the bill delivered to the room looked fine, we were all set! We asked for some directions to several places and two different employees were more than happy to help. They highlighted maps for us and printed out directions as well!! All in all a great little getaway for our family!!

Rooms have a moldy smell. First level rooms, even with "vista views" are sunken with only a ground level view of a golf course that gets noisy at 5:45 am. Request second floor room for sure. Excellent staff but rooms need updating/more attention

We stayed here for 3 nights in either room 123 or 125 (can't remember exactly). The resort is rather old, we were told it was built in the 60's, but you wouldn't know it to look at the place. We were told by the staff that it is considered a small resort so they have some renovations planned to expand the place.

Check in was quick and easy but finding our room was difficult given that we didn't see any signs to point us in the right direction. I don't recommend the room we stayed in because outside the window was a speed bump which all the golf carts would speed over to get to the adjacent driving range. The noise had us up before 6am every morning, and it was even more bothersome on the weekend when there were more golfers.

The rooms themselves were incedibly spacious and very nicely decorated. I loved that there were two separate sink areas, a large walk in closet, and a big bath tub, but the shower was almost claustrophobic. Unfortunately, our fridge didn't work. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the view from our back patio of the golf course.

As part of the romance package, we got a free breakfast buffet every morning but the restaurant was hard to locate with a lack of signs. Because there was never any host standing near the door and never more than 5 people in the restaurant, it always looked closed. On the weekends there was a small buffet set up and over in the corner was a chef who made any kind of eggs we wanted, waffles, pancakes, etc. They tasted really good and the chef was very friendly. During the week there was no breakfast buffet but we were allowed to order anything we wanted from the menu. The portions were huge.

We mostly saw couples at the resort but a few families were always at the pool which was clean and even had a bar with misters to keep you cool. The outdoor fire pits that lit up at night were a nice touch and there was also a gym and tennis courts which we didn't use.

One night we ordered room service. About an hour later our food arrived and the pizza was decent and very filling and the cobb salad was so huge I couldn't finish it. Also, as a part of our romance package, we could select a beverage that we'd like delivered to our room any time the next day.

I really liked the feel of the resort. It was romantic and honeymoon-ish and reminded me of Cabo. Besides being awoken early from the golf carts speeding over the speed bump outside our window, we really enjoyed our stay.
