Stayed here on a drive through Tucson, using a hotel travel coupon booklet. The room is nice and has been remodelled recently, the bathrooms have not though. Convenient access to I-10, good value (even with the really old bathroom tub area), helpful check-in staff. Decent continental breakfast I like: apples, bananas, cereal (Total raisin bran), oatmeal (plain), yogurt, waffles, bagels & peanut butter/cream cheese.

The Ramada name carries some weight with this traveler. The last Ramada I stayed was a resort and conference cntr. Nice place, bad bed so I thought I would try a Ramada one more time. Of course it was lower on the Ramada food chain and it also had a nightly stay at $49.
Well.... driving up to the hotel it looked pretty good. pretty entrance and lobby, friendly efficient staff, clean pool.
Obviously this hotel has been around awhile , but has worn well. A typical outside entrance to rooms which had two floors wrapped around a H building layout.
Since entering the SW part of USA I noticed ALOT of new construction taking place, especially oil related. It seemed over half if not most of the rooms were taken by workers of the various projects.
This hotel was defiantly one of them.
When locating my room I noticed quite a bit of wear and tear on exterior doors and inside. My room was on 1st floor facing front. It had good bones, and you could tell at one time this was a really nice hotel and now they are trying to extend the life a little longer ,it works but it's days are numbered. Might add that walking around the hotel that the back portion of hotel was really worn down. The bathroom had great tile, great massaging shower head but scary tub. The frig and micro was placed in the bathroom? which made it a bit crowded. Still the room was clean and most important the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again at same rate but wouldn't bring along anyone who
was particular towards new and nice.

Room Tip: Rooms in front seem to be nicer
