“WHat A Great Stay !!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2010

We just completed 4 wonderful days at the El Presidio B & B in Tucson. The innkeeper, Patti, was so helpful and generious with hospitality, breakfasts and assistance with direciton and attractions to visit. Her breakfasts were a specail treat accompanied by conversation about plans for the day and what was happening in town. Our room was large, very clean and most comfortable--the internet for my laptop was a breeze to use. Our room was freshened each day with special "treats" on the counter when we returned from our day trips. We especially enjoyed sitting in the patio in the late afternoon, having a glass of wine and recalling our edventures. We heartedly recommend Patti and the El Presidion B and B

El Presidio Bed and Breakfast is an oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of the city. The accommodations were excellent. One of the oldest buildings in Tucson, this adobe has been completely renovated, but the ambience of the colonial period remains. A central patio filled with flowering plants and a delightful fountain greets you as you enter. The food was delicious and the hostess a warm and friendly lady who wants to make your visit as special as possible. I highly recommend this B and B,

We have stayed at this b & b for several years to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and have found the host, Patti, to be consistently accommodating and helpful for any need or question. More importantly, she serves the best breakfasts of any b & b we have ever stayed around the world. I enjoy sitting in her lush Tucson garden, and the rooms are always spotless and beautiful.

Location, location, location. Easy to find with access right off of I-10. Gorgeous house with fantastically quaint courtyard. I don't think the host could be any nicer and the food was wonderful and a lot of it! Lots of bacon with cornbread waffles and fresh fruit! Loved it!! Did I mention the train came by and blew its horn at 12:23am, 1:56am, 2:11am, 3:30am, 4:46am, 6:16am, 7:08am. Bring earplugs!

Our host Patti was an absolute gem, we have not met any one like her in 12 vacations in the US. She made us so much at home that we both felt very sad to leave and have vowed to return. The accomodation is lovely, set around a courtyard with dappled shade all day which despite the Arizona sunshine felt comfortable and inviting. The position of El Presidio is so close to downtown it is merely a five minute walk and has easy access to the interstate. Breakfast was out of this world, ask for the ginger pancakes with lemon syrup.

My wife and I just finished a one week stay at the B&B. It was our 4th Time over the past
10 years. The inn keeper, Patti Toci, has become like an old friend, although we felt that way after the first visit. We stayed in the Carraige House which is a small suite. The fridge was stocked with refreshments and there were small bowls of snacks on the counter. Breakfasts were large and diverse and comprised of fresh fruit, muffins, bacon or sausage, eggs or another treat like french toast raisin bread or gingerbread pancakes with homemade lemon sauce made from lemons from her garden!

The Inn is in the heart of historic Tuscon and within walking distance of several very good restaurants. We will be back!

The Inn Keeper is a consierige, and excellent cook, a charming and loving hostess--all in one. This B & B is Patti.

We have been staying annually at El Presidio for at least 15 years. Our stay is for 3 to 4 weeks duration. The home has been lovingly restored and furnished with period antiques, however the rooms include wireless internet, TV, phone--all the current necessities plus the restful ambiance that includes peaceful patios with multiple seating areas. Take the time to smell the roses.

If that isn't enough you are sure to enjoy the gourmet breakfasts-all made from scratch, and none repeated even during our four week stay. Breakfasts include a bowl of fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea plus ginger pancakes with home made lemon syrup, or stuffed french toast with pecan syrup or blueberry syrup, bacon or sausage.......the selection is just two of my favorites.

You arrive here as a guest and depart as a friend vowing to return as soon as possible.

Once you stay here the El Presidio is THE B&B that you will compare every other B&B
to--and of course, all will fall short. This place, thanks to Patti is the Best Choice of B&B's in the Tucson area.
