We'd just left a small 5 star hotel to stay here, as this was the location of where Carnival of Illusion was playing, (Fun Show!) so it's a bit hard to be very excited about the Doubletree. The staff was pleasant and our tower room clean, comfy bed & pillows, fair water pressure for the 9th floor. One of the elevators was out of service so there was quite a wait for the working one. The hallways are dated and not very attractive. The Friday night Prime Rib special in their restaurant is a great deal and worth stopping in for. I think it's more of an above average as opposed to a very good hotel.
The gentleman dinner and breakfast servers, were great.More
