We traveled as a family of 5 with grandma and 2 kids. The casita was just perfect....move-in condition. The setting was gorgeous; it was quiet but not far from activities. We all enjoyed visiting all the animals at the ranch. My daughter fed one of the horses, held a chicken, and visited with all the others.

Spent a week there Aug 28 - Sept 5. The different sized casitas are located on the owners 20 acre ranch. The casita was spotless and very tastefully decorated. The ranch is in a secluded part of town and a short drive off the main road. The loudest noise i heard all week was the splash of the water when i went into the pool. The pool is small and the deep end is only about waste high but it was very refreshing and is a perfect spot to relax and stare at the mountains. Mornings can be spent sitting out on the patio and checking out the many rabbits and ground squirrels that wander by. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and you are allowed to roam the grounds. There are horses, goats, sheep, and burros on the ranch and one mean little rooster!!! See all this for yourself at thecasitas.com. It's not Ventana Canyon but that's not why you would stay here. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The casita was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. The location is ideal, with the national park just around the corner not too close or too far from the city.
We really could relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings, with fabulous views and total privacy.

This is a 20 acre ranch with the owners home and 4 small houses that are rented out. Each house is very private and secluded from the others. Owners are wonderful and the house we rented for 2 nights was absolutely perfect inside and out. VERY clean-- well maintained-- we loved it! Highly, highly recommend!
