“Highlight of the trip”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We loved Primo, the food was delicious first class all the way. The wine list was amazing and the service did not disappoint. Kevin was great and made the night memorable for me and our party.

“More attention needed to details”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Our party of six was seated at a large wooden table with no tablecloth on it. The table top was stained and dirty looking, and we asked the waitresses to please cover it with a cloth. All of the other tables had cloths on them. They covered it nicely with two cloths, but seemed to do it reluctantly, as if our request was unreasonable. Decor seemed rather dark and dated and the chairs were worn. The open kitchen near the dining area was somewhat noisy. The saltimbocca dish was very good, the scallop dish not so good. Desserts were average. The service was very slow and the meals were expensive.

“This location lacks the Maine restaurant's appeal.”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

We didn't expect Primo in Maine to be transported to the Southwest, but the Tucson rest. just isn't special. Just another restaurant in any upscale resort. We had no real complaints about the food, it was good, and the staff is very professional. At these prices we expected something a little more memorable, and it wasn't

“Closed”

Tried to eat here while staying at Starr Pass and the resturant was not open for business. Forced to eat at the Grill. Food at the Grill was good, but we were in the mood for Italian. The Starr Pass resort is obviously in financial trouble, as there was hardly anyone there.
