“Presentation made the meal”
Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

We frequently eat here for Valentine's Day. This time we were seated in a smaller side dining room which was initially quieter. The service was very prompt and the meal was tasty. Our tenderloin was done perfectly. The real joy is that the food was presented so beautifully. We were so full we had to bring our desert home. Our only disappointment was that the have dropped the wine pairings for this special meal.

“Very Nice Dining Room”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

Beautiful dining area in an historic hotel. The service was exceptional and the food and presentation very good. The "mini BLT's" are highly recommended. A great experience overall. A little pricey overall, but we really enjoyed it for the atmosphere.

“Elegant with jeans”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Top cooking in an elegant piece of history, Arizona Inn. Sport coats to jeans to a combo thereof as the food deserves respect from its visitors. More options are in the bar and better yet the patio outside the bar. High tea to incredible breakfasts stop in but we warned: you may not want to leave

“The Food has definitely gone down hill”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

We went back to the Arizona Inn because we love the atmosphere for special occasions, however the food was not up to par again this year. I've gone back through the reviews from last year however that review seems to have disappeared! My critical review last year stated we would probably try it again to see if this was an aberration. It wasn't. The food has not improved from last year, so I'm sorry to say that we won't be coming back till there is an indication that the food has returned to a standard we were accustomed to a few years ago.

“A Wonderful Christmas Dinner”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

We went to Tucson for several days at Christmas, and treated ourselves to the Arizona Inn for dinner on Christmas Day. First, let me note that this is a beautiful, traditional dining room, with excellent service by staff that is formal and very well trained. No "you guys" here. The dinner consisted of soup and salad, entree and dessert. The soup was pleasant, lobster bisque, and the salad I had was an amazing brussel sprouts dish with a goat cheese cream--sounds odd, but was excellent. The entrees were very good--I had salmon and my wife turkey--and the desserts were again excellent. The dinner was expensive, but no more so than traditional buffets and dinners at other hotels and restaurants, and the meal was memorable.
