“Elegant service with lots of attention to details.”

With food allergies dining out becomes complicated and often just too much trouble but not at the Arizona Inn. By calling ahead (which I usually do) the servers were aware but more importantly the chef was aware. I could order anything on the menu, which never happens, and I even had sauces that were safe. It isn't a cheap meal but a dining experience and will become our new "celebration" place.

“Amateur Cooking”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Oh Dear! We came for the good reviews but the food completely missed the mark. We had the chef's tasting menu but virtually nothing on the plate tasted as it should.
The starter plate representing three specialities was almost inedible. Old dry bread topped with a few chopped vegetables next to a deep fried ravioli with indeterminate contents, on an overpowering bitter herb sauce. The fresh mozzarella and basil was OK.
The main course plate was equally bad tasting. The fish tasted old and mushy, the cannelloni tasted like tinned spinach in a paper shell. The steak part did, in fact taste, of beef, if a little over salted, but the three dishes did not work together and the sauces ran into each other on the same plate so the result was an unpleasant mess.
The selection of mini desserts on the plate, which ended the meal, was also surprisingly void of any taste, with the sole exception of the creme brûlée, which was good.
It is difficult to believe a professional chef would pin his reputation on such a poor meal.

“Old elegance”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

An old style bar - piano player in the corner playing your favorites. The martinis are perfect. Enter into the dining room after your drink - a magnificent room with fireplace in the corner - tuxedoed waiters and waitresses. Extensive wine list - a little pricey. Everything on the menu is fixed to perfection. You are not rushed. It is truly an wonderful experience. Try it for your next special occasion - or just for a night out.
