“Old elegance”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

An old style bar - piano player in the corner playing your favorites. The martinis are perfect. Enter into the dining room after your drink - a magnificent room with fireplace in the corner - tuxedoed waiters and waitresses. Extensive wine list - a little pricey. Everything on the menu is fixed to perfection. You are not rushed. It is truly an wonderful experience. Try it for your next special occasion - or just for a night out.

“Elegant dining”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

This is an elegant dinner house with extremely courteous waiters. The food was great with comfortable portions. If visiting Tucson again, I would make it a point to dine there.

“Hard to beat”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Definitely upscale, cosy, quiet room.

The bread served with the meal was probably made with flour but I had several times
better at Il Fornello at Bayview Village in Toronto the night before. My wife and I quite enjoyed the Caesar salad.

I had the Branzino as my main meal. The fish itself was excellent, but I didn't care that much for the other things on the plate.

In summary, a little hit and miss. Yet I would not hesitate to come back here for a special occasion. The kitchen has shown that it can perform, even though it may have missed some of my personal preferences.

We also had breakfast here a couple of times, and found it good but quite expensive: 3 strips of bacon: $3. Glass of milk: $3. Coffee, so-so:$3. For a breakfast missing tablecloths and polished service but totally satisfying in every other aspect, go to the Blue Willow almost within walking distance around the corner on North Campbell.

“Historic dining in an elegant setting”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

I've been dining at the Arizona Inn since the 1970's. During my most recent visit I enjoyed the changes in the menu, an updated style in the presentation, with great service. I always enjoy this place for lunch or dinner. The Christmas tree in the library is not to be missed. Also, the grounds/flowers in the spring are spectacular.
