Visited on Sunday evening..the bar was a comfortable place to sip wine and listen to soothing jazz, as we viewed summer’s twilight over Catalina peaks. My husband enjoyed his favorite, Margarita pizza, I tried the tasty Brussels appetizer. We were both satisfied with our choices. Josh, our waiter was very kind and served up just what we needed to cap off our day.

Dined in the Cascade 2 of our 4 nites in Tucson. Great views, drinks, food and service. Our hostesses, Allie and Rachel made it a special place. Try the salmon, custom pizzas and the shishito peppers. And the craft cocktails are wonderful.

Once a year they have a Christmas tree lighting event. This year they had some carolers dressed in 1800's costumes. 2 of us in our group thought they were not very good, but then I had listened to Pavarotti's concert in the 80's with Sting, Eric Clapton, etc. so probably not good to compare.

A lot of families attend this event and Santa was there for pics with the kids. We had a group of 7 and had a comfortable 2 couches. The 'coffee table' was too big to talk comfortably to people across from us.

One lady ordered their sweet potato fries (good) and another ordered some nachos (they looked ok, I didn't try them).

I myself had sauvignon blanc, the cheapest 'by the glass' was 10 bucks.

On a nice afternoon or evening you can walk in back of the hotel to a gorgeous waterfall which is picture-worthy. Alot of people do not know it is back there.

Alyssa waited on our group and she did an excellent job of seeing if we needed anything.

The Cascade Lounge hosted two of our pre-dinner cocktail hours. Also every evening the place was packed, and a band of playing some really good life music.

I cannot remember the name of one of the girls passing out the hor d'oeuvres but she was very funny! She was chatting up the guests talking about the area, and really getting us laughing with her humor. Whoever this is should be training the rest of the staff.

The food was tasty, especially this mango or pineapple or some sort of fruity dipping sauce. The drinks were quite strong, so only a few were needed.

In the evenings the place was packed and there was a live band playing great music both old and new.

Overall this was a great place to have a business function and a night out.

Let us preface by saying the resort itself was phenomenal. The restaurant itself was mediocre. We ordered a pizza, which was burned; coconut shrimp which were over cooked and pork belly tacos, which were fine. We must say that the presentation was great!
