Lots if excellent crowd-pleasers on the menu, as well as lesser-seen items. It's a big busy, noisy place and service can be fantastic or a little on the slow side.

Recommended by a friend, we found that the restaurant has 2 locations and although they share a web site, they are independently owned--one by a husband and one by a wife--now divorced. We went to the one now owned by the husband which we were told by the staff is the original although the other restaurant is called the original--all very confusing. However, the food was delicious with generous portions, the service was excellent and friendly, the atmosphere was upbeat with mariachis singing throughout the night, and the Margaritas were huge and wonderful. They are a MUST!! This is one of the few restaurants that serves paella and they did a good job!

Recommended by the Front Desk at our hotel, and I see why. The Guadalajara Grill has excellent food, ( I had the delicious spinach enchiladas) , made to order salsa at your table (I'm still dreaming of more!), plus a very attractive and fun atmosphere (mariachis), I am so glad we ate there. Next trip to Tucson--I'm there. Ole!

Ate dinner here a few days after Christmas and they were very busy. We had a large group (14) and waited 30 minutes despite having reservations. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills, silverware sets, tortillas, and other missing food items. Some of the party thought the food was good, others said that they didn't like it at all. Personally, I had steak fajitas and I thought they were fine, certainly not the best but not bad. Atmosphere was fun, with a mariachi band walking around playing music.

We dined here a couple years ago and it was 4-star...really good all the way around. This time something is clearly off as the margaritas seemed to have no tequila, my wife's dinner was great and mine was terrible. The server did not charge for mine and was deeply apologetic that the menu description was not even close. My wife's chicken fajitas were superb.

The roving mariachi band insisted on playing even though we declined. They played an "international favorite" that was unrecognizable, loud and so poorly performed it made us laugh. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday night so clearly it appeals to some. We likely will not return.
