“in downtown trying to bring in classy acts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

theater is a throw back to small old 50's type new acts trying to keep the doors open and revive the place. parking for a fee is next door (right now traffic in the area is difficult to manage as there is a trolley line from the University of Ariz to downtown area being built. check it out before you travel in the area

“Fox Theater an Art Deco gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

We saw Bella Fleck and the Marcus Roberts trio on Nov 24. The performance was terrific--who would guess that a banjo can blend with and enhance a classic jazz trio? The theater itself is worth a visit. Lovingly restored, it is in intimate venue. Wine and beer and snacks are available. The front of the balcony is configured with love seats--very comfortable and cozy. I would heartily recommend this theater--if you see someone performing there that interests you--go!

“This is a great place for entertainment.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

I last went to the Fox when I was a teenager and it was a bit seedy but still classy. Since its complete restoration it is a sight to behold and a delightful place in which to attend a musical event or to watch a classic movie..It;'s a regular stop for us when we make the trip to the big city.

“Impeccable Restoration--The Fox is Back”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

This is an old Fox theatre that has been restored to opening day beauty. Ornate wall and celing paintings, rich draperies and original style seating make any show here a journey back to the sentimental 30's and 40's. A new director brings in a higher level of elcectic live talent along with classic movie screenings. The Fox is truly back.

“Unique performances with a beautiful ambiance!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

My husband and I enjoy that the Fox brings some very unique groups and individuals to the Tucson area. We've been there at least 8 times in the last 2 years and plan to go more when the down town construction is finished.
Only complaint- the theatre is not looped for the hearing impaired and I have trouble with hearing certain acts.
Loop the Fox and make it accessible to more people!
