“Local restaurant, too big sushi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2009

The food was o.k. but the sushi were too big. We could have had half of what we ordered. Fun to see locals having dinner there.

“Updated Review -- great food, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2009

I first visited Sushi on Oracle just after it opened. Now, years later, it remains the once constant in my visits to Tucson: no visit is complete without at least one dinner at Sushi on Oracle. This is a small, un-pretentious sushi restaurant in a strip mall on Oracle in the Foothills area. While the exterior is unimpressive, the food always impresses. The fish is always fresh and of the top quality and Yoshi, the owner, is both a Sushi artist and a warm, welcoming host. Yoahi’s commitment to quality food and service hasn’t wavered over the years. He works hard to deliver a great product. If I’ve one complaint, it is that Sushi on Oracle has been discovered and it can be crowded in season and especially on weekends. However, it is worth the wait. I don’t want to give the management any ideas, but we pay double in Washington DC for the quality of sushi that Yoshi delivers with a smile – as he has done since opening this wonderful little restaurant. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to get this quality of Sushi for this price anywhere else in Tucson.

“Fresh sushi/great prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2009

A small, simple restaurant but the sushi is wonderful...not trendy (although there are some well known rolls on the menu), very authentic. It gets crowded fast, so go early if you go on the weekend. We'll go again!
