I recently had dinner there outside with friends. The food was very good and staff friendly and helpful. Always a good place for lunch or dinner.

“Average Food and Service”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

It was a nice evening to sit outside on the patio, but the food, drink and service was average. I had the Carne Asada and it was overcooked and tough. The fish looked dry. I might consider going back in nice weather just to sit outdoors, but it was nothing special.

“Hidden courtyard”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

We found this place when driving around Tucson. We had the grilled turkey sandwiches and we were not disappointed. The turkey was fresh and not of the processed variety. The chipotle fries were very good. For dessert we had the crème brulee topped with a fresh strawberry. Next time we are in town we will stop in for diner.

“Nice atmosphere - food didn't stand out”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Our group of 11 was accomodated very nicely in the outside patio. The atmosphere was great after sitting in meetings all day. Service was very attentive as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals but I didn't find anything that stood out as excellent. My fajitas were well presented but seemed lacking in flavor. A bit more seasoning in the chicken, onion and pepper mix would have been nice. The accompanying sides were very good.

Thank you for bringing your group to OPG and dining on the patio. We are glad you enjoyed the setting and service. I will advise the chef about he fajitas and see if we can't season them a bit more. Now you will have to join us again and let us know if the fajitas are improved:)

“Good Food Slow Service”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

The food was good but the service was slow. We were treated like we were not very important. They were also out of one of their signature drinks the Jalapeño margarita so had to settle on one that was just okay.

Thank you for reviewing Old Pueblo Grille. I am glad that you enjoyed your food! I apologize that the service was slow and aloof. That is definitely not how we want our guests to feel about our service. I have asked that Ryan Heidrick, our GM, address this with the service staff and I assure you it is not the norm. We appreciate the candid feedback and will adjust. For the margarita, I am guessing you are referring to our Ghost Pepper Tequini? We are having a hard time keeping Ghost Peppers in stock since very few carry them - and in limited quantities. They are said to be 300 x hotter than a jalapeno and there is not a lot of demand. We have since located some and will continue to do our best to keep them in stock. Next time you are in, Ryan may just treat you to one. Please join us again soon and when you do, ask for Ryan and refer to this review. Have a wonderful day!
