“Peppers with attitude”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Is a neighborhood restaurant that is decorated with scenic Arizona photographs. Tables were well spaced, so had an open roomy feel. I took my son and his fiance for a Sunday dinner. I ordered one of the specials (Stuffed Red Peppers) and they were very good. My son ordered a thin crust Arugula Pizza and his fiance ordered the Wine Burger. It was good basic food with the cost being around $10-$15 per entree. The waitress was very personable and attentive. Food came quickly and she continued to check on us regularly to see if we needed refills on drinks or anything else.

“Very Cool Place....”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is a nice little Restaurant decorated with Photographic scenery from the Tucson and Arizona areas. The place is nicely set up with a nice patio, and bar. We went for breakfast, and the food was not worth the price you pay for it. 3 pancakes for $10 is not a great deal, and especially when they are just pretty on the plate, but bland in taste. I ordered the Pumpkin pancakes, and they did not taste like pumpkin, as they were actually tasteless. We also ordered the Egg/breakfast sandwich which state 2 slices of bread, but actually is an open faced sandwich, once again not worth $11. Might have to try it for Happy Hour or dinner, as I hear good things about it, but I won't got back for breakfast as there are other places nearby with much better tasting breakfast items. But the place is nice, and the service was very good.

“Not all in the name”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

Good Mexican food is where you find it and its not always in a "Mexican" restaurant. A green chile chicken enchilada for lunch was absolutely the best ever eaten this side of Oaxaca. The black beans with 'queso fresco' ('fresh' cheese) where equally authentic to Oaxaca. In addition, the place was electric with a lively crowd and a staff that was not highly polished but super friendly and efficient. Some great photographic displays and announcements about jazz and movie nights added to the feeling of being in a really lively place.
By the way, the posted address is not correct. I believe the 'South HIghway 89' place closed years back. Current address for Jaspers is 6370 N Cambell Ave., #160. (Corner of Campbell and Skyline)

“Delicious breakfast!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Had a delicious breakfast at Jaspers. Recommended by our Concierge at Loews Ventana. Breakfast burrito with tasty chorzio and an open faced egg sandwich served on toast with sausage, cheese tomato and avocado. So glad to find this cafe. Will go back for dinner!
