“Great view of Tucson”

A Mountain (Sentinel Peak)
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

This a quick trip to the top! Great views of Tucson. Take a few extra minutes and walk out to the gazebo at the top point and breath the fresh air and view the star pass resort and the beautiful mountains of Arizona. This is worth the trip. See the beauty of Tucson.

A Mountain is very close to downtown Tucson you can bike, walk /run or drive to the top and 360 degree views. Great for hill/ interval training.

Not much to do here but gawk at the views and take pictures. Not the cleanest area. A short drive from downtown Tucson. Definitely worth the effort.

I took my dog up at 8:15 am to the first gate trail and we enjoyed the quiet mountain views, moon and hawks circling over Tumamoc. Easy. I was a little confused because the next gate to the park was still closed at 8:45. Some signs say park opens at 8 am, some say 9 am. Otherwise, will certainly go again. Dog enjoyed it also.

You can drive most of the way up during daylight hours. Its just a short 10 minute hike from the top parking lot to the peak and the amazing view. Its very easy to find with GPS and close to downtown Tucson. I would bike this everyday if I lived in Tucson. Beautiful view.
