I have been going to Mosaic Cafe since it was tucked into a strip mall. The food was fantastic and authentic then, and has improved now that it is situated in a lovely stand-alone building full of vibrant colors with a fantastic view of Tucson. The dishes are cooked in the traditional Sonoran Mexican style and the portions are large. Fresh tortillas are made on site, fun for kids to watch! There is a small bar to wait and have a drink. The tables are mosaic tiles, reflecting the name and adding to the vibrancy of the ambiance. The restaurant can be bustling during high-traffic times, but can also be more relaxed and casual during off days/hours. I recommend going to Teresa's Mosaic Cafe with people visiting Tucson, especially if you are already on the West Side of Tucson visiting the Desert Museum of Saguaro National Park West!
