“A very comfortable, well-equipped guest cottage, in a quiet neighbourhood, next to the desert. next to”

We enjoyed our stay here. Scott, our host, was very helpful. We didn't lack for anything in terms of supplies and equipment. He even left us a complementary basket of toiletries for our use. The guest cottage is on a quiet side road off of Picture Rocks Road, a very busy, winding, scenic route through Saguaro Park. We found trails through the desert and a route for cycling that avoided Picture Rocks Road.
The cottage would accommodate 3 people, in a pinch. I think it's ideal for 2.

Liked best: The quiet and proximity to the desert views, also very comfortable place to live.
Liked least: Driving the twisty road whenever we wanted to go other places.

“Great value for the price!”

We spent 2 weeks in February and had a wonderful stay. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Scott is a very gracious and conscientious host. The house is compact, clean and tidy, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a small community about 15 minutes from Marana, and the drive is scenic, through part of the Saguaro National Park. The neighborhood is not upper class, but the neighbors are friendly. Everyone has dogs, but they’re quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting out back as the sun set on the mountains, watching the quail and rabbits run around. Great spot for astronomy.
