“Fresh salad; Lots of choices! 8 Daily homemade soups!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

A long salad bar that is well stocked and with lots of customers, it is constantly fresh. Then once you pay you are guided to a seat to get drinks and the soup station with 8 homemade soups which are made daily! Such variety! There is a huge bread station, pasta station, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, dessert station, fruit, frozen yogurt, and more... Those who complain they want more want something for nothing.... Stuffed!

“Always a nice reprieve from tacos and tamales”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

The huge selection of fresh greens and add-ons is mind-boggling! Then just when you think your decision making is over, you discover the Soup Bar with a selection of breads and muffins! And then the Pasta Bar! And wait! Then there is the Dessert Bar! Oh, and did I mention the bottomless glass of tea or soda? You will have a hard time finding a better value than this family friendly place. I even overheard a conversation in a New York City restaurant where people were raving about "this great salad bar in Tucson called Sweet Tomatoes"!

“Excellent and Easy”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Some of my Weight Watcher friends and I decided to meet up at Sweet Tomatoes. There is a big selection of veggies at the salad bar, a soup station with at least 4 different soups, and a hot pasta bar. There is also a selection of fruits and an ice cream station. The ingredients and menu highlights can be found clearly posted on the www.soupplantation.com website. Coupons can also be obtained if you join their Club Veg. The restaurant gets crowded but the buffet line moves along fairly quickly and a server comes to your table to see if you need refills, etc. or you can enjoy any part of the buffet as much as needed! Enjoy it - this place is great for all, not only weight watchers!!! Very relaxed atmosphere.

“needs some protein”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

This is a good salad bar that is well-managed. It is fresh and good. However, there needs to be some additional protein (e.g., chicken breast, tofu,...) to add satiety so that one doesn't get so tempted with all the carbs. They dropped this, although it was available a few months ago. Please bring back protein!

“Love the salad bar”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We go to the Sweet Tomato at least once a month. We really like the Senior Discount during the week. The salad bar has everything you'd want, the soups are good and the breads are fantastic. Love it!
