“Best Sandwiches Anywhere”
Reviewed July 14, 2014 via mobile

Beyond Bread sandwiches are simply the best I've had anywhere, including New York or Boston. It can be crowded and a bit noisy, but who cares when the food is this good. Interesting place for people-watching. Management seems to be humane and kind enough to tolerate its share of homeless folks apparently eating/drinking on the house, which I think is a good thing. The place is just a couple of doors down from the used bookstore giant Bookman's. Have a very satisfying meal then buy some books or vice-versa.

“Very good”

Spent one day in Tucson and heard great things about Beyond Bread. I was not let down. I got the Pauley Pesto. The flavors were great and the bread was soft. The cinnamon bun was also tasty.

“So tasty it's worth the price”
Reviewed July 2, 2014 via mobile

Good place. First time here the muffuletta was very tasty other than the hard bread. Wasn't traditional muffuletta bread and was extremely hard. The corn chilli chowder was real good.

All in all a half sandwich is plenty. 3 sandwiches and side or Mac and cheese $45.

“Excellent sandwiches Friendly staff”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

This is the place if you're looking for a genuine Reuben at a reasonable price. They have an eclectic menu of sandwiches which should please nearly everyone. It is not a place for quiet conversation or to linger over a meal. There is nearly always a line (a good thing) and usually a short wait for a table (can't be helped as the place is popular). I see the same cheerful people on most visits and have always left happy. Usually with half of my sandwich for a second meal.

“Over rated”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

The bread is very good in this restaurant, that I can agree. I have had multiple sandwichs here and they are mediocre at best. If you like healthy bland sandwiches and chips this is the place to go. Parking is always a pain here and be prepared to be harassed by degenerates.
