Fresh meats and homemade sausage, this is a classic butcher shop. They also make sandwiches with their own fresh meats. We have tried their bratwurst (the best wurst) and they are great. Their Rubin sandwich is also good, but I thought the thousand island was a bit too strong. Their “drunken swine” pulled pork sandwich with bourbon barbeque sauce also good, but next time, I’m going to ask for extra sauce. All of their sandwiches, which come with a bag of chip, go for
$6 to $9. There are two picnic tables and two iron deli-style tables out side; great for most of the year but probably not too good in the rain (not that that is a big problem in Tucson). Not the classist place in town, but it sure beats those chain fast-food joints.
