“Tasty Tapas come to Tucson!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

This is a delicious addition to Tucson's local restaurant scene. The patio has comfy chairs at big tables and the interior is pretty enough for a date night.
The name "Tapas Fusion" may not fully explain the Peruvian-based menu which has more salads, sandwiches, and appetizers than tiny traditional tapas. But the Peruvian flavors and ingredients are as good or better than their Spanish counterparts.
We loved the fish cevice made with fresh tilapia, served with a small sweet potato and piece of white corn.
The Ochoa was also delicious-- grilled shrimp atop cold potato slices with a peanut sauce.
We loved our lunch and will be back to try dinner. The roast chicken looked great and the wine list small but reasonable.

“Delicioso!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Tapas Fusion is a wonderful new age restaurant that combines delicious and nutricious food with great ambiance and service. The Peruvian Sunday menu takes me back to my travels to Peru and the extraordinary tastes and smells of Lima. The food is elegant and full of nutricious ingrediants. We make it our Sunday tradition to get away and enjoy the experience!

“New restaurant worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

This new Tucson hotspot offers an excellent menu with VERY reasonable prices. Creative dishes are prepared in the open kitchen by Chef/Owner Violeta and the atmosphere is equally enjoyable. Another plus...centrally located! Congratulations to the new owners on providing Tucson with yet another winner.

“Tapas Fusion in Campbell Plaza in Tucson, AZ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Peruvian-born, French-trained chef Violetta Rodriquez fuses several continents' cuisines with some twists in the menu's offerings. The tapas are meant for sharing and coupled with some Sangria or a vino , you can watch the chef create from your table or sit at the food bar.

Her specialty is the succulent rotisserie chicken that you can select white or dark meat or the whole chicken served on a platter with sweet potato or regular fries--enough to feed 3-4 hungry people! Then, it's on to an array of desserts that she creates.

The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, but open other days of the week for lunch and dinner. Now that it is cooling down, the patio seating area is surely a place to enjoy!
