Went with 3 friends. Nice atmosphere. Had a small but good salad bar. Ribs were good as was the prime rib. Great service and friendly wait staff. Would go back again.

Easy to see why this place has won Tucson’s best steak restaurant award in the past. One of the best prime ribs I have had in quite a while, delicious, succulent ‘melt in the mouth’ cut of beef. Calm, efficient and friendly service combined with good value menu and varied wine list underscores recommendation.

This was one of the best meals we've had on this month long trip in CO, AZ, and NM. Open pit Mesquite Cooking. Huge portions. Great Prices. Excellent sides. We found it by total accident, and it was a happy accident indeed. For $20, I had the sampler...a Top Silroin Steak, Ribs and a 1/4 Chicken with awesome sides of French Onion soup, baked potato, cowboy beans and very good rolls. How they can make any money at these prices is beyond me.

This open hearth mesquite cooked prime rib and steak house has always been a main stay in Tucson. Help yourself salad bar and big cuts of meat made it a bargein. But lately the meat is more fat and smaller. The prices have continued to rise. There are better options a lot closer than driving to the South side of Tucson for prime rib

open pit in the restaurant chefs cook to perfection prime rib is my preference side option is salad bar all food priced reasonably and food is exceptional a little hard to get to if your not familiar with tucson. best bet is take I-10 east to 6th and go past the light it'll be on your right.
