Always a wait but we don't mind because of our favorite dishes being at the end of the wait. Nothing fancy and traditonal mexican food not many healthy dishes. The Carne Seca is awesome and the beans and salsa. It's a family tradition to eat here! the wait staff is OK but we know and are prepared that it won't be a 5 star experience, just a fun time and great dishes.

This traditional Mexican resaurant serves typical fare, with good service, a great crowd and the best frozen Margarits in town.

This place has become so popular that there is often a waiting line out front, and it is worth it. (Personally, I prefer a restaurant in midtown, but I like'd never turn down a meal at Mi Nidito.) Known for their enchiladas but everything is good. Bill Clinton ate (a lot -- see the Presidential Plate) here when he was in Tucson -- whether that is good or bad to you, it does indicate that locals recommend it for its quality. Great atmosphere, and Espanol is definitely spoken here, if you habla. Don't let that turn you away -- they are used to us Gringos, too! Recommended.

Mi Ni Dito's is a gem in the desert. It is always busy so come prepared to wait about an hour for a table. Don't despair though, it's well worth the wait. The restaurant is decorated in traditional Mexican style and is very proud of the fact that President Clinton ate there. They even have a president's plate to commemorate his visit. The food is phenomenal and the prices are good. No one should visit Tucson and not include this place on their itinerary.

This place has one of the best Mexican foods I have had the delight of eating. It can get very busy and a long waiting line but if you stay the food is delicious, my favorite are the mini chimies and the chicken enchiladas.
