My husband and I had lunch here while we were visiting Tucson. The food was outstanding. The menu changes daily and we both had the chef's sampler- which the chef chooses three different dishes off of the menu for you to taste. The food was fresh and excellent. The service was great as well. If we return to Tucson, this restaurant will be a must.

We ordered the mystery meal - a combination of three of the chefs daily specials. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed trying each other's meal because they were different even though we both ordered the same thing! We will definitely go back. The house margarita was also outstanding and the wine list had many interesting choices.

After an afternoon at the theater, my friend and I decided we would have dinner in Tucson before heading back north. We had two restaurants on our short list, and when we found ourselves stuck in afternoon traffic, we opted for Cafe Poca Cosa as it was on the street we were on. Jackpot!!!! I thought we might be a little early for dinner, but there were already several diners. We started with chips and salsa....yum! The salsa was so flavorful without any real heat! Delicious! After listening to the server describe the 7 entrees from the chalkboard (which is created twice a day!), we both chose the fish with steamed vegetables in a wine sauce. OMG!!! To die for! Fortunately, we saved room for dessert which was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal! Not inexpensive, but a super dining experience!!!

Poca Cosa (Very few things in English) is exactly that!
Food has no taste, every dish comes with the same ludicrous garniture (leafs of lettuce, slices of bell peppers, no seasoning!). A waste of time and money.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, and is a real find. Who knew that Tucson would turn up so many great restaurants. Poca Cosa is located in re-emerging downtown Tucson, and sports some of the best food we've had while we've been here. The mole chicken was great, with a beautiful presentation including a salad, rice and beans. My husband had the shredded pork, which was also great. Reasonably priced, and good service.
