“Academia in the Desert!”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Cool campus not unlike many other great Universities but this one is in the desert so everyday is a gorgeous day here! A must see when your visiting Tucson. There is a great Concert/Lecture Hall --Centennial Hall with tons of free Lectures and many great concerts! A little college village area with cool shops is nearby.

“What can I say?”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Went to school there and love going back for tailgating, football, basketball, planetarium. Parking is awful (has gotten better). Fun to hang out on the mall and people watch.

“An entire day here with many things to do”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

We visited the Worlds of Words, the AZ state museum, the Center for Creative Photography exhibit, the Flandrau science, and the mineral exhibit. We should have allowed more time at the science museum as they have many interactive exhibits good for all ages. The AZ state museum has so much information about tribal history, it is almost an overload. The Creative Photography exhibit apparently has one featured photographer at a time and the entire display is his/her work. We were hoping for more variety. The art museum is closed on Mondays, so we missed the special Ansel Adams exhibit. Easy to walk around, fairly good signage.

“Tucson Festival of Books”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

A fabulous event attended by a great many people. If the author(s) you are interested in hearing are particularly popular, you will need to line up well ahead of time. I suggest 60 - 90 minutes ahead of time. I missed my first session as I arrived with just 15 minutes to spare; the hall, seating 350 people, was already full! This is a wonderful campus that is well signposted; the many volunteers are helpful and informative. We can't wait to return next year. Parking is free.
