“Beautiful/Unique Campus”
Reviewed May 26, 2012

A little bias, because I am an Alumni, but this campus is beautiful. It incorporates the beauty of the desert, with some of the old mixed in with modern architecture. Currently refurbishing the football field and stadium and McKale Stadium is a staple! Go Cats!

“Interesting museums on the grounds”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

It is not only a University, you may visit several museums too. In the streets around it, you can also find all things related to it: tee shirts, caps, pens, mugs, etc.

“Worth a stop to walk around the campus if you're in the area”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

I happened to be at the University of Arizona on business, and when that was done switched to "tourist mode" and walked around the campus to see its sights. It's an attractive campus with palms, an "Old Main" building that appears to have some history (and, speaking of history, a decent history museum right on campus), and some nice outdoor artwork. It doesn't have the "wow" factor one gets when touring campuses such as Berkeley's (disclaimer: I am not a Berkeley alum or athletic fan; I just believe they have one of the most beautiful campuses in the country), and there are many other things to see in the Tucson area that would take priority, but if you're nearby it would be worth at least a quick hike around it.

“Very Nice Campus”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

Check out the museums - hidden gems. Currently lots of street construction in the area. Tucson can be very hot so beware - yes it is a dry heat but it is still hot.
