Brad at the Tucson Food Tour is a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area (he knows a lot about the city plans being a local Fire Fighter), very friendly, and very interesting to talk to with many great personal stories and stories about the history of the city.
The locations we toured were all fantastic, there is a place for coffee lovers, vegans, pizza lovers, meat eaters, and everything in between. The trip lasted for a few hours and we walked a couple miles (but still it felt like it went by too fast).
There is a parking complex about 2 blocks from where he wanted to meet, which cost $6 to park in for the 5 hours we left our car there (they charge by hour intervals), but there is also free parking at the Hotel if you can snag a spot. It was sort of difficult to find where to meet him at first, but if you can find the Congress Hotel in downtown, the courtyard is just in the back (and he was wearing a white Tucson Food Tour shirt for our tour).
We went to 7 different food locations, however there are only sample sizes of the meals so you will be able to try the food at all of the locations without feeling bloated.
On top of the great experience, you also get coupons to all of the locations that you visit, so that you can go back for seconds at a discount!
Highly recommend this tour to anyone.
