“Happy hour is a must”

Their happy hour sushi prices are amazing! We ordered so much food because of the prices and used the groupon, so doubly great deal and enjoyed it all. Beautiful ambiance. Their korean BBQ is the best! They did raise their prices on the BBQ and sushi buffet. Happy hour menu definitely helps, can't eat much anyhow.

“Certainly Affordable & Fresh”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Most of the time when you think about DOLLAR sushi in the desert, you might think old, stinky, tiny. But at Azian / Fusion Wasabi that is not the case. I don't care if you go on a Monday after the weekend rush, I have never had "stale" fish. I was glad when they made their $1 sushi, all day, every day. It's what I love & miss about the coast. And so do my kids.

“Comfortable Asian Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

We just went there for the first time but it won't be our last. We ordered the Korean barbecue. There was so much good food that we were embarrassed ( but we did take leftovers home) .
We started by picking three meats - Beef Bulgogi (well it IS a Korean Bar-B-Que), Spicy pork and shrimp. Then back to our table while the grill heated up. As we waited, we were first served a nice Miso soup, followed by a salad, followed by so egg roll and crab puff appetizers. Then the meat and the sides arrived . Some sides are ready to eat like the cooked shrimp and cocktail sauce, while some seemed to go with the cooking meats like kimchee, pickled radish, raw garlic and jalapeño and some were sauces and oils for the food. We then got a large bowl of rice, as well, while the meats were cooking. As we made room on the grill by eating the food, sauteed vegetables were then put on the grill. A lot of very good food.
They also, separately serve a buffet, and sushi. (By the way, everything on the buffet looked fresh, not dried out) Lunch is 12:00 - 3:00. Dinner is 5:00 on. A very satisfying meal.

“Good sushi in the desert? YES!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

I didn't anticipate finding good sushi in Tucson but thought this place was innovative & great. Azian is known for their AYCE sushi or korean bbq & it smelled great but we chose to sit at the sushi bar & ordered off the special Sunday night "$2.50/4 pieces) menu since most of the interesting rolls were not included in the AYCE. We made the right decision. The BLSR roll had small bites of lobster & was soon good we had to have another and the Vegas roll was also very good. We had $30 worth of sushi (in Vegas that would be about $70) & enjoyed every bite. Definitely a must try especially when the have the $2.50 roll night!!

“Kids had fun, but food wasn't good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2012

My kids enjoyed cooking the food at the table, but this restaurant was a big disappointment to the adults. The food was unimpressive-- both the 'cookable' food and the sushi (none of the interesting rolls were included in the AYCE price). Great place and concept, it would have been fabulous if the food were better.
