This restaurant is inside of Casino Del Sol. I really didn't expect the quality of meat/seafood that they serve, and was very pleasantly surprised!
What was ordered: Seafood sampler for 2 ($18 a person). This includes 3 HUGE Prawns per person, 3 fresh oysters per person, 3 crab claws per person, sauces (gotta try the lemon sauce!), and 2 cups of ceviche. Very fresh, not overcooked, just perfect flavor. Almost a meal in itself! The prawns, are aprox U-5 size (5 per pound). For dinner, 1 10 oz filet, and one short rib, with sides of spinach and mushrooms. The filet...great flavor, seasoned to perfection, done medium rare. The short rib...all I can say is tender, juicy, and flavorful, and large! Have an appetite for that meal! Also had 2 bar drinks and 1 glass of of a fantastic wine! Now, comes the bad part...never ordered desert. Why not you ask? Well, now for the only bad part of the entire evening...Our waiter...or lack thereof. It was slightly busy, (10 tables and 2 large parties at the time we were there). There was wait staff for the larger parties, and another waitress for the other tables, but our waiter just didn't have timing. None...took over 10 min for initial drinks, then Amouse Bouche was already delivered and eaten, and he came back with more...we had just handed him our empties....then after dinner...he was gone...I mean just not there. Also did not advise us that if we wanted the souffle, that it would have taken 20-30 min in addition....After waiting 15 min after we finished our dinner, we just asked for the bill... The food speaks for itself, yea, its in a casino...but ignore that fact, and go have a great steak and seafood. I would give the waiter a break as it was only open for 2 weeks when we went, so we will go again (for that meat/seafood), and hope that the service comes up to the standard that a fine steakhouse deserves. Total Bill: (no tax as it is on Indian property): $145 (not including tip).
