We've been going to the 17th Street Market Place since we moved to Tucson 18 years ago. You find surprises on any isle you go to. Food from all around the world. Simple to the exotic. Lots of Asian people shop there as one might imagine. It's a mixture of music store, Dept. store, meat and fish department. Not to mention a wonderful produce section. Funny story, just came back from a cruise in the Caribbean and met a couple in the airport heading back home from their cruise and heading on to Tucson. They told us that they were the original owners of the 17th St. market and have recently retired and sold the business. It's really unique and worth the trip. Situated in a warehouse district which adds to the ambiance.
