“Horrible!!! Dont stay here!! Gross!”
Reviewed November 14, 2008

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to! There was slime and tadpoles in the hottub and tumbleweeds in the pool. The rooms were small and not very clean, and the staff was not nice. My family saw fleas in the bed. It was gross! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Noise from I-10 was tremendous. There were numerous empty beer cans and food wrappers around the pool when we arrived Sunday--they were still there when we left on Wednesday. After spending two hours in our first room, the air conditioner never did cool the room so we requested a different room. One of the electrical sockets in the second room was non-functioning, they resolved this by removing the microwave and floor lamp. This left the refrigerator, fan and the TV with only two sockets to power all three. Our first night, we place a plastic cup in the wastebasket. When the room was cleaned, the cup fell out on the landing and was still there when we left Wednesday. The amount of bird droppings on the balcony indicated that cleaning of the balconies was not a high priority.

Your website had good reviews for the Days Inn at the Tucscon, AZ Convention Center. I booked to stay there based upon TERRIBLY wrong reviews.

Beyond the fact that there was no coffee available at 8am during their "continental breakfast" here is a list of reasons NOT to stay at this hotel.

1. One could see daylight around the entire door. Increased freeway noise through gaps.

2. No security lock on door. (two rooms 152 251)

3. Broken lighting in courtyard.

4. Broken Coffee Makers-two rooms 152 251.

6. One room only had one towel.

7. Broken remote controls.

8. Under-age teenagers throwing a beer party in a nearby room - the clash of broken bottles were heard.

9. The bed had two definite grooves where the mattress has been over used and was over-due to be retired to a dumpster.

NEVER AGAIN and I will warn people of the establishment. It was a FAR cry from the standards usually set by Days Inn Corp.

I will ensure that everyone I know hears how horrible the accomodations are at this hotel.

Under no circumstances should anyone stay at this motel. The place is horrible. It is unsafe, filthy, and old. The property needs to be condemned and torn down. No human or animal should be subjected to these conditions. The plumbing doesn't work well and the shower never gets warm because of some "anti-scald" feature. Despite being warned about this place, I tried it anyway because the price was so low. What a mistake! Even if you were paid to stay at this place, you would refuse. The motel is in an unsafe area of town and the owner makes no attempt to give the property a secure impression. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I came here and read reviews for this Hotel, I read one that said "Don't stay here I got scabies" I had read some others that said it was an OK place to stay for the money and thought maybe that person just wanted to say something very mean about the plase so I booked it.
Let me start by saying the place was scary and empty, the parking lot was next to some water run off trench that made you think of some scary movie, there was men hanging around outside the office all night and I awoke in the morning to find the Lobby window smashed in with the giant crystal they had on display the night before, the free breakfast was a loaf of white bread and some dry cereal, the place looked clean but older and bed seemed clean but I have been home for a few days now and have a bad itch and rash now and so does my roomate that shared the room with me those days, I itch so bad and have a rash that is speading from my arms and my belly to my sides and legs now, I am going to the doctor for I have reaserched this rash and it does seem like scabies, this person was not joking or being mean this place does seem to have sacbies, dont stay here, spend a little more money and treat yourself better then this

  • Liked — the staff was nice!
  • Disliked — the rash WE ended up with!

Most of rooms were in use as showrooms for a large gem /mineral show,, including most of the lobby. Tables loaded with rocks and minerals were everywhere - inside and out; great for rock hounds, I guess.

Rooms shabby - kinda beat up,, with mold in shower. Staff was friendly.

Would not stay here again.

Fairly standard motel room.
Pretty crowded and busy environment because of many building activities on the inner court. A bit noisy because of nearby freeway: Ask for room at the back!
Fairly chaotic administrative procedures at reception.
I had initially booked for 2 nights, and later seperately for 1 more night. Upon arrival I asked the reception whether my room (and key card) was for 3 nights, which was confirmed.
When I checked it after the first 2 nights it appeared that my key card was only valid for 2 nights and that I had to check in again (luckily for the same room).
