Took the tram to the top of the canyon and walked the roadway back. Saw a mountain lion and a few roadrunners. View is spectacular, but the water isn’t running in November.
Recommend this place for authentic Arizona landscape. Trails offer easy to difficult terrain.

The views in Sabino Canyon are just fabulous. A great place to visit and burn off some energy. Only a short drive from our wonderful accomodations at HAPPY CACTUS RENTALS in Oro Valley

We took the shuttle up to the canyon. It was beautiful. The driver was telling us about its history as we rode along. We got off the shuttle and walked for a while and hopped back on the shuttle to come back down. You can walk the whole way through but we didn’t have time to do it. the shuttle cost $10 each person.

Anyone and everyone visiting Tucson should give the Canyon a visit.

Take the tram up to the top and hike the pipeline trail for a wonderful desert experience. Those not inclined for such a vigorous hike just take the tram up to the top and enjoy the audio tour and very informative visitor Center.

Get off and walk down between a couple of couple of tram stations to get a sense of the wonders of the Sonoran Desert.

When ever we have friends visiting we start their Arizona experience with tour of the Canyon.

It is a must do!

If you're visiting Tucson, be sure to make time to see beautiful Sabino Canyon. It is geologically interesting, has lots of cacti and the hiking is designated as easy, moderate or difficult including distances. We saw a great blue heron. The shuttle costs $10 per person, you can ride it all day and get off and on at nine stops. It takes you all the way up the canyon. Bring water, sunscreen or buy a hat at well stocked gift shop. A family friendly place.
