This national park is a true gem in Tucson. There are so many amazing hiking trails, some that lead to beautiful views of the entire city. There are paved trails, rigorous trails and trails that lead to amazing waterfalls. There is also a tram tour for those who want to ride through parts of Sabino Canyon and learn about the different riparian areas. A great work out is Blackett's Trail which is a climbing hike uphill the entire way with a beautiful view at the top....you may even see a mule deer or two on your hike.

There was water to get away from the heat. The kids loved it. They got to splash and play in it. It was clean and lots to see! The hike was easy but you do need lots of water and sunscreen. We didn't want to leave, if only we had packed a lunch.

Great hikes for everyone. Wonderful place to bring visitors to ride the tram. The visitors center is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I love Sabino since my first days at the U of A many moons ago. It starts out as beautiful Sonoran desert but as you ascend up the canyon (by foot or tram) the scenery changes with the running stream & change to trees from cactus. Of course the wild life is not predictable but usually there. Some nights get lucky & the U of A asrtronomy club has telescopes set up. There are always displays & education on our wonderful flora & fauna.

Nothing bad to report about the Sabino Canyon. I loved that we got a ride to the top of the Canyon and could walk back down. We learned a lot on the way up and then enjoyed walking and taking photographs on the way down. Such a fun, exercise filled day.
