The Tram Ride was an excellent way to see the beauty of Sabino Canyon. The hiking trails provide incredible scenery of this treasure. There is abundant wildlife throughout the Canyon. Unique rock formations provides some fabulous photos. My wife and I really enjoyed visiting Sabino Canyon. It is a must see for visitors in the Tucson area.

The tram is wonderful and informative. I've been on it probably 10x and still am not tired of it. ...Keep learning new information about the canyon.

“Beautiful all year long”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Great hiking and scenery. Always bring plenty of water. My favorite walk is just straight up the tram path to the top, 7.4 miles round trip. A great picnic spot is a bit down the hill from mile 1. When the wash is running it is extremely peaceful and one time we even spotted a deer taking a drink! One of my favorite spots in Tucson.

“Beautifull, peacefull, walking and relaxing roundtrip by trolley”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

We were here before in 2007 but couldn't see the canyon because of a recent flooding. Now, we wanted to visit it but we had done a lot of walking in the citycenter that day. We just took the trolley/tram way up in the canyon. We had the best of it all, we were sitting down, in the shade, got explanation of the environment and saw all the beautifull nature passing by. At the last stop and turning point of the tram we got of for 5 minutes, making some pictures and felt the greatness of the canyon and when the tram started heading back to the valley we just hopped in and enjoyed the way back. We spend a wonderfull hour here. Resting and enjoying nature in the same time. People who walked parts of the canyon were full of aws and ows about it. Worth the trip, worth the visit, worth the money.

“First Rattlesnake and Gila monster of the year.”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We were there the middle of March 2013, it had been a rainy spring followed by a very cold winter. First we saw the gila monster with and about 5 minutes later a huge diamondback. He was crossing the path in front of us. My long legged son stopped mid stride and went backwards instead of forward. He moved on and so did we after getting some photos. It was a great walk, there was water in the creeks and lots of people cooling off in the small lake. There are bathrooms scattered around the trails and some trails are paved.
