“A Jewel in the desert!”
Reviewed December 24, 2011

If you like to hike, see wildlife, enjoy the canyons and water this is a spot for you. You can take an easy hike on the path or venture off to the dirt trails. All of the hikes are wonderful. You can take the 'tram' if you are not in the mood for a hike. The wildlife is beautiful, anything for Rattlesnakes in the spring and summer to Gila Monsters and a Kit Fox. Be prepared to be pleased and surprised at the desert jewl of Sabino Canyon.

“great side trip; very informative tour”
Reviewed December 19, 2011

Liked the narrated tour; got great pictures. However, in November/December, quite cold. Tour was just right amount of time involved (45 minutes). Great bargain for the price. Gift shop was well stocked and prices were great.

“Fabulous scenery and interesting tram ride”
Reviewed December 18, 2011

This canyon is right in the city limits. The $8 tram ride has a great driver who gives a narrative as you ride to the top. You can hike rough trails or walk down and/or catch the tram back when you get tired.
