Liked the narrated tour; got great pictures. However, in November/December, quite cold. Tour was just right amount of time involved (45 minutes). Great bargain for the price. Gift shop was well stocked and prices were great.

This canyon is right in the city limits. The $8 tram ride has a great driver who gives a narrative as you ride to the top. You can hike rough trails or walk down and/or catch the tram back when you get tired.

The reason to come to Tucson. Sabino Canyon, and its extension, the Coronado National Forest, makes you forget you live in an area of 1,000,000 people. There are trails for all ages and skills. Highly recommend Blackett's. Ive used it to train for Grand Canyon hikes.View from top of Blackett's unspectacular. 7 Falls after a summer rain a must do. Ive lived in Tucson almost my entire life and never tire of going

Sabino Canyon has hiking for the adventurous as well as the hiker who wants to walk pathes. They have a shuttle that runs up the canyon to different outlooks and you can hike down part or all the way. Great waterfalls and streams throughout as well

Some of the most picturesque hiking without climbing over lots of rocks, unless you want to. There are trails and paved roads to accomodate all levels of ability. There is also a tram that less mobile folks can ride. There is water in the stream most days of the year, but it can be reduced to just a trickle during the dry season (June). Just be aware that dogs are not allowed. If you want a hike with your doggies, try Catalina State Park or Madera Canyon.
