While there, take a hike up the trail behind the hotel.

For some reason, this course layout just fits my eye well so I don't feel like I have no idea what to do with my next shot. Almost always in excellent condition, although a bit pricey, it's one of teh must plays in Tucson if you can get a tee time. The Third hole "Wole in the Wall" is one of the shortest and most expensive to build par 3's in the world, and is a one swing, do or die, shot that is one of the most memorable shots you'll get to try in Tucson (the par 3 4th hole on the Ridge Course at La Palome being the other one). But all 18 holes are fun and fair without any gimmicks. When you tee it up on the par 5 18th, go to the upper tee box - a stunning view and a really fun shot.

We were staying at Loews and this was the second course we played. We played Dove Mountain first which was beautiful also. We had a tee time earlier in the morning and picked up our carts right at the hotel pro shop and had a small drive to the first tee.

Myself and my wife never saw anyone behind us the entire time which made it a great day as we are not excellent golfers. This course was in excellent condition and was absolutely beautiful. It's a totally different course in comparison to the desert courses. There are tons of trees and cliffs and water etc., Even thought I shot crappy like usual we had a fantastic day on a beautifully kept course.
I would recommend this in a heartbeat !!!
