We were there for the gem show. A very hectic time . This hotel didn't have the booths and sellers and was a island of peace amidst the bustle of the show. Breakfast included fruits and cookies in the evening

We stayed here for five nights, and the lack of drawer space and bathroom space was frustrating. The dresser had only three undersized drawers for two people. We won't stay at this property again for more than a night.

Otherwise, everything else was up to snuff for Country Inn. The breakfast selections were great, and the complimentary bottled water was very much appreciated. We had an east-facing room and were not bothered by the noise from I-10, even though we could hear it.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms where a hallway closet (obviously for use by the hotel) cuts into the bathroom floor spa...

Didn't know the gem show was this weekend, made for a busy hotel. I got here early though, so I doubt I got the last room in the place.

The room had a strong smell, musty, mildew. It hits you strong when you walk in after being out of it for a while. The room is also just a basic hotel room, not a suite like I usually get at these properties. Not sure if that's what my reservation was for, or if this property just has regular hotel rooms. For my needs this trip, an overnight stay, the room was just fine (other than the smell).

The room seemed clean, and I think the beds are doubles and not queens like I thought the site said when I made the reservation. The desk was nice and big which I like.

The tv seems to be volume constrained. Some channels just would not get loud enough to hear. What was strange is that other channels would be too loud and have to be turned down for fear of disturbing neighbors. It is a newer LG tv too, so I think it has to do with something set on the tv by the hotel more than a defect.

The staff seemed friendly and helpful. Overall a good, positive stay, only marred by the smell in the room.

We stayed at this motel after the one we usually stay in was rated lower than it had been. It was a surprise how nice and well kept it was. The maid service was very well done. Free Cookies and water in the lobby at all times. Room was very nice. Breakfast was good but one morning almost everything was empty. We spoke to the attendant and everything was quickly filled again. We enjoyed the view from our 3rd floor windows at the back of the building. Probably the front views would not be as good overlooking the highway. Room was quiet. Property was easy to get to and very convenient to where we wanted to be. Very good value for the price.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor in the back of the building.

For a moderate price, this hotel offered excellent value. The room was spacoius and clean, staff were accomodating, and the hot breakfast offered much more than the usual fare. Following another reviewer's advice, we requested a room away from the freeway, and this provided a pleasant view and a quiet two nights' rest. The location was perfect for our visits to the Saguaro National Monument and Tucson Mountain Park, but still convenient to city amenities and restaurants. Our first stay at Country Inn and Suites, but it won't be the last!

Room Tip: Third floor room facing away from the freeway was quiet.

I thought the hotel was ok. The breakfast ws good, location good and the staff very nice. It was a nice touch to have bottled water for the guests and cookies. The room we had was clean, the carpet could of been updated. That night our room had flying ants in it. We were directed to a new room. There is a bike trail behind the hotel that is very scenic and goes either direction for a long time. As we walked it we noticed homeless people that live among the trees along the dry water bed. If you are a light sleeper make sure you don't get a room next to the ice machine, which is pretty noisy.

This is the second time we've stayed at a Country Inn, and again I was favorably impressed. Price is right, and room and experience rivals much higher priced hotels. Room was large, beds and pillows comfortable, everything was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Good, full hot breakfast. Put Country Inns on your radar, folks, you won't be sorry! Some people have complained about road noise, but we asked for a room on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet. No noise from other guests and we didn't even hear the train whistles. However, we come from a suburban area, so maybe others are more sensitive to noise. Fantastic location if you want to be close to downtown, it took 5-10 minutes to drive to the city center.

Room Tip: Ask for away from the highway.
